Mushroom "Bacon" Pieces

Get ready to have your mind blown. 100% mushrooms, 0% bacon, yet somehow these mushroom chips will have you thinking you're crunching away on bacon. I know you won't believe me until you try it, so go ahead. I'll be here waiting to say "told you so!"

Mushroom "Bacon" Pieces

Serves: 2-4 // Prep Time: 45 min

INGREDIENTS

500g White Button Mushrooms, washed and dried

2tbsp olive oil

Salt

Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 450 degrees fareneheit

Slice the mushrooms into 1/8-1/4 inch rounds. The stems can be sliced in half lengthwise.

In a bowl, gently combine mushrooms, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Lay mushrooms flat on a baking sheet, making sure they don't overlap.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway. Remove from oven when golden brown and crunchy. The smaller pieces may have to be removed a bit sooner :)

Allow to cool for a few minutes.

Enjoy!

I hope you love this recipe as much as I do! When you decide to make it, comment below, let us know what you think, and post a photo on Instagram with the hashtag #besynchro so we can see it. Can’t wait to connect!
