Synchro Genesis Desert Mousse

While the label on a jar of coconut oil may say that it is almost completely fat by volume, it is important to note that this is almost completely medium-chain tryglycerides (MCT's).  MCT's are converted into energy far more rapidly than other types of fats, and in the body of an active person with an active metabolism, MCT's get converted primarily into glucose (for energy) and not stored as fat.  This is a slow conversion process that makes coconut oil the ideal energy source before a workout.  Seriously, having Synchro Sex before a work-out is the best thing you can do for your body.

2/3 cup (8tbsp) Synchro Genesis
2oz water
3oz Almond Milk
4tbsp coconut oil

Directions:  Put Synchro Genesis in a mixing bowl.  Slowly stir in water and then almond milk while whipping vigorously with a fork.  Once this has been mixed completely, you will have a thin, pudding-like consistency.  If thicker than this, add slightly more almond milk.  Then, melt the coconut oil on the stove just to the point where it melts.  It is important not to cook or burn the coconut oil as this will change the flavor.  Once melted, whip in the coconut oil to the bowl, again using a fork for vigorous whipping.  Place the bowl in the freezer for ~10min to cool and let solidify slightly.  Remove and voila!, the most delicious and nutritious thing you will eat today, all in one bowl.  If a food processor is available, you can execute the recipe using that (and with great results).

Try adding chopped almonds, blueberries or other fruit!

4oz Water
4oz Almond Milk
(optional) 1tbsp melted coconut oil

Directions:  Add ingredients to a jar and shake vigorously.  That's it.  

(suggested - add 1tbsp Coconut Oil) As a seriously delicious variation, try adding 1tbsp coconut oil.  Heat the oil on the stove just to the point where all the oil melts and then add to your jar and shake again.  This addition comes highly recommended, especially if you could use extra "fuel" ahead of a workout, yoga class, or training session.  See the Synchro Sport recipe below for what makes coconut oil so amazing when used in this context.

Synchro Genesis for Athletes and Workout Recovery

The specific nutritional needs of endurance athletes post-training or post-competition are very specific and absolutely critical for getting the most out of a workout and helping the body to build strength and fitness as fast as possible.

Directions:  Add ingredients in a blender.  Variations are possible with raspberries or blueberries substituted for banana (just be sure  that each portion of the recipe adds up to around 30g of carbohydrate (excluding fiber) so as to maintain the 3:1 carb-to-protein ratio spelled out above).  For example, 1 cup of raspberries is about 7g non-fiber carbohydrate, so in adding that to the recipe you would want to use only 3/4 of a cup of banana.
