  • The Science Behind Re·Juve

    BioHyaluronic™ helps replenish hyaluronate levels in the joints.

    Hyaluronate is the primary compound responsible for lubricating our joints and maintaining healthy cartilage.

    Hyaluronate concentrations in our joints decline as we age, leading to greater friction and excess wear on cartilage. BioHyaluronic™ helps restore hyaluronate levels in the joints.

    Studies have shown oral hyaluronic acid supplementation improves hyaluronate concentration in the joint, producing improvements in joint smoothness, mobility and comfort.

    BioHyaluronic™ was developed to overcome the limitations of existing oral hyaluronic acid supplements, specifically: 1) poor absorption from the gut and 2) inefficient transport to the joints.

    BioHyaluronic’s innovative formula binds hyaluronic acid to phospholipids, increasing bioavailability from the gut and transport to the joints once in the body.

    Liposomal Glutathione protects healthy cartilage from further oxidative degradation. 

    Protecting your healthy cartilage from future damage and degradation is just as important as rebuilding what’s already compromised.

    The primary driver of aging-related cartilage degradation is well known to researchers: oxidative damage from reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the joint. 

    Researchers have looked at dozens of compounds to assess their potential for protecting cartilage from ROS. Glutathione, an antioxidant produced naturally by the body, had far and away the most protective activity.

    Under normal conditions, glutathione ingested orally would not be absorbed into the body. Liposomal glutathione offers a solution to this.

    When glutathione is encapsulated in liposomes (a microscopic encapsulation technique using phospholipids), glutathione absorbs readily from the gut and is transported to the joint where it can exert its protective effect.

    Anthocyanins increase superoxide dismutase (SOD) in the body, adding another line of defense against oxidative damage to cartilage. 

    Anthocyanins are a class of natural compounds that have been shown to stimulate production of superoxide dismutase (SOD), a powerful protective enzyme and one of the body’s primary defenses against oxidative degradation to cartilage.

    Re·Juve uses an extract of the aronia berry standardized to 25% anthocyanins, providing the dose shown in studies to be required for the stimulation of SOD production.

    How should I use Re·Juve?
    We recommend taking 2-4 capsules per day, every day until you finish your first bottle (at the earliest) before assessing how it’s working for you.
    Long-term, 2-4 capsules per day will be the right dose for most people, although increasing the dose can accelerate the effects for some people.

    When can I expect results?
    While some of the effects will be felt quickly (i.e. inflammation reduction via the liposomal glutathione), rebuilding connective tissue doesn’t happen overnight, of course. Significant and lasting regeneration of joint tissue is generally measured in months rather than days or weeks.

    What is the size (molecular weight) of the Hyaluronic Acid used in Re·Juve?
    The HA in Re·Juve has a molecular weight of 1.2 million Daltons. The size shown to be most beneficial for rebuilding synovial fluid in the joint.
    It’s worth noting that HA of this size does not absorb from the gut on it’s own, and requires a phospholipid carrier for efficient absorption and transport to the joints. This is the principal innovation of the HA-phospholipid complex in BioHyaluronic™, and the massive advantage Re·Juve offers over any other HA formula on the market today.

    What are your QA (Quality Assurance) procedures?
    Every ingredient we use undergoes purity and quality analysis at three points: 1) at the producer 2) upon arrival at our manufacturing facility 3) after completion of the manufacturing process.
    Additionally, BioHyaluronic™ and Liposomal Glutathione undergo two distinct types of structural quality analysis (DLS and CryoEM) to ensure they meet our exacting standards for efficacy.

    Do I need to refrigerate Re·Juve?
    Nope, as long as Re·Juve is kept away from heat and sunlight, it will be very stable at room temperature. That being said, the refrigerator is a great place to keep Re·Juve away from sunlight and heat, so it’s not a bad idea!
